The DVR has real time and date stamping(can be set on or off) and has selectable motion activated recording so it can also be used for a variety of different applications. It has a remote control so you can set any functions including start/stop recordings easily and all recordings are stored on a standard SD card. You can also set the recording as manual record, power up record, motion record, overwrite and scheduled record.
